Need to practice or review equivalent fractions? In my classroom students need practice identifying fractions in simplest form, so I decided to provide a game that allows them to practice this skill. What better way to practice than through a game?
Students match the fractions and can challenge opponents to justify their matches. They could justify by drawing a model or showing their mathematical thinking.
I designed this as a review activity for my fifth grade classroom; however, it does support the CCSS NF 4.1.
Enjoy and thanks for looking!
