SIMPLY FRACTIONS ~ Reducing fractions with variety!
3 printable worksheets on reducing fractions. Not for the beginner as these are quite difficult. Here is what you'll get:
Page 1 - students reduce fractions that are written out IN WORDS, not numbers, to make them "think" just a little bit more; example: "reduce sixteen twentieths" (20 examples)
Page 2 - true or false reducing also written out IN WORDS; example: "seven twenty firsts = two thirds, true or false" (20 examples)
Page 3 - Fraction Balloons;(one of my best sellers!) Each balloon has a fraction in it, each box has its reduced counterpart. Students must find the correct match. (15 examples)
Your download of 6 pages includes answers. Decorated for fun.
* I make all my worksheets as carefully as these and have many others on fractions and decimals for this age level. Feel free to check them out at my store by clicking the link below called "DAVID FILIPEK STORE LINK" and it'll take you right there. Great teaching to you!
