PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a very hands on simulation demonstrating the problems with the Articles of Confederation- specifically how the Articles set up Congress as one house, with all of the 13 states receiving even representation, no matter what their population size.

Students will see the problems brought to life in visual and physical form in front of them, using little Risk game people or some other sets of color-coded pieces.

I do this simulation every single year because of its power of clarification and how it forces students to think on an high level about very complicated issues of representation.

*** you will need Risk people (the game Risk) or another set of small, color-coded pieces for students to use to complete this simulation.
