This folder contains a quick lesson on the order in which to use direct and indirect object pronouns when used simultaneously, including with the pronouns "y" & "en". The file contains 42 sentences used as examples of how to use these pronouns together, with the use of different colors to help students spot the pronouns in French and in English. These 42 sentences come with 2 MP3 files. One in which sentences are pronounced slowly, and one in which they are pronounced the way the French would pronounce them in a conversation. It is interesting to note how the "e" of the first pronoun is usually skipped orally.
Finally, you will find a file with 2 exercises on the simultaneous use of direct/indirect/y/en. In the first exercise, students have to answer 12 questions using pronouns. In the 2nd exercise, they have to rewrite 12 sentences using pronouns. Feel free to email to get answers to these exercises!
