Sine Cosine Tangent Card Sort
Description
In this activity, students will sort triangles with given information into the categories of sin, cos, and tan. Each triangle has two pieces of information and one piece of missing information. Students must decide which trig ratio helps them solve for the missing information. There are 20 cards that will be sorted. An answer key is included.
This activity could be used as an alternative assessment, a partner activity, or as a review before a test. Make sure this activity is appropriate for your students. Look at the thumbnails and download the preview to see examples.
Sorting pockets are included for an interactive notebook. A sorting mat is included if a standard card sort is preferred.
