Letters A-G Fun Pack is a discovery-filled unit with songs, games, crafts & activities. Students will be introduced to letter name, sound and recognition of letters through large motor skills and games. They will practice beginning sound by sorting pictures and toys. When the concept of letter sound is learned, word construction is begun in a group setting through song.
Letters A-G Fun Pack can be used in a Kindergarten setting, for advanced PreK or as remedial First Grade. This pack is a break-out from the Kinderquest program. Kinderquest is a child-centered, multisensory program. This innovative approach teaches through music, art, games, creative play and large motor skills. The Kinderquest experience develops independent, responsible children and inspires their innate quest for joy-filled learning.
Inside You’ll Find:
Animal Parade- The Animal Parade A-G is a fun way to introduce students to letters (A-G) and their sounds through craft, pictures, song and movement. Students will learn proper mouth posture and letter sound, create fun animal banners, then march while singing the sounds & waving their banners.
Magnetic Letter Sort- This simple center helps students discriminate letter shapes using fun magnets to match.
Letter Patterning -The learner will practice patterning using the Animal Parade animals.
Buddy The Bear Treasure Hunt Craft- In this Buddy the Bear Treasure Hunt the learner will practice color and cutting skills through craft construction. They will explore the letter B sound and 1 to 1 correspondence.
Rainbow Writing- In this engaging rainbow themed activity the learner will practice letter writing skills through poetry and large motor movement; then crayon and paper repetition.
Letter Dance Song- This catchy song and activity will help the learner practice letter to letter recognition through song and large motor movement. The learner will experience left and right through large motor movement.
Two Letter Sorting Games -In this letter sorting station the learner will recognize and isolate beginning letter sound and match to corresponding letter symbol
Animal Dot to Dot - The learner will practice A-G alphabetical order through dot to dot puzzles.
Give the Dog a Bone Game- In this engaging game the learner will practice alphabetical order A-G and match upper and lowercase letters A-G, while “giving the dog a bone”.
Small Toy Sort Station - The learner will sort small toys onto letter symbol cards through isolation of beginning sound.
Reading Song -The learner will review letter sound. The learner will be introduced to reading of 3 letter words (short vowel, phonetically) using singing as a vehicle to connect letter sounds.
