This file includes an animated and engaging powerpoint slideshow and printable PDF file to help your students practice melodic patterns including la, sol, mi, re, do with a winter theme! Perfect for your elementary music students - no matter the method...Kodaly, Orff, etc. Your students will enjoy the animations in the powerpoint after they succeed singing the snowmen's melodic patterns. The animations in this version are different than my previous "Sing the Snowmen" editions to keep your students excited about this activity as you use them in different grade levels!
- Powerpoint slideshow file (21 slides)
- PDF File: 20 Pages of adorable color printables
The powerpoint can be used like a game or a challenge for your students to do a beautiful job singing solfege patterns. The animations in the Powerpoint are meant to give your students an engaging and interactive way to practice singing solfege. After students "Sing the Snowmen" pattern beautifully, click on the mitten and something special happens on each slide. The slides are not in any particular order but include 20 different melodic patterns. The final slide is an adorable celebration of success. If you would like me to include additional patterns, I am happy to add them to this set! Just send me a quick email!
Suggestions and ideas for the printables are included as well.
