This .zip file contains materials for a middle school science lesson that introduces single-celled eukaryotic organisms (amoeba, euglena, paramecium), as well as endocytosis and exocytosis, as part of a unit on living things. The unit was designed for 6th graders in NYC.
1 SMARTboard .notebook lesson presentation, including lots of useful video links (6 slides)
1 homework assignment
Presentations serve as lesson plans that guide the teacher through the entire lesson. Presentation includes links to related YouTube videos to increase student engagement (I can help you use YouTube videos in your class, even if your network blocks such sites, just ask).
'Ask a question' if you need a PowerPoint file instead and I can probably re-upload everything with an adjusted file.
Download SMARTboard's Notebook software (it's like PPT for free at smarttech.com (Downloads section).
