Google Lit Trips were created by Jerome Burg, founder of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization GLT Global ED, who is not affiliated with nor sponsored by Google, Inc. or Studies Weekly, Inc. A Google Lit Trip is a downloadable file with marked locations of interest and pop-up bubbles that contain relevant information such as text and media. Google Lit Trips are created using Google Earth.
This free download is Studies Weekly's Single-Stop Google Lit Trip document. The document is a small packet of information that will help guide students through outlining their Google Lit Trip on paper, providing them directions of creating the Google Lit Trip in Google Earth, including HTML coding, and finally, how to save the file and share it with teachers and friends. Google Lit Trips can have multiple "stops," so this version of the instructions is for users who only want one "stop" for their Google Lit Trip.
