Great partner game for language or reading center/workstations.
Game Play: Students will deal 5 cards each leaving the rest face down in a stack. The dealer asks the other player for either a plural or singular noun to match one of their cards. Ex. Student 1 has a sock card. They ask, “Do you have the socks card?” If student 2 has the card they give the card to student 1. Then student 2 draws a card from the stack to replace the one they gave. Student 1 places their match in front of them. If they do not have the matching card student 2 would say, “Go Fish.” Student 1 would draw from the stack to try to make the match. If they make a match they lay the match in front of them. Game play continues until one player is out of cards or all cards have been used.
