This 9 page packet contains materials to help teach young students how to match singular and plural nouns with the correct form of action verb.
Ex: Madison plays in the park. Madison and her sister play in the park.
It includes two anchor charts with examples of proper noun-verb matching , a fun cut-and-paste activity for students to practice on their own, and a follow-up quiz to assess their understanding of the concept. Answer keys are provided for both.
Only verb forms in present tense are used. Most were selected from the Dolch Sight Word list, grades 1 through 3.
