Instruction file #1 is a 16 slide intro to the vertical shift or center-line of a sunusoid. 4 formative assessment problems are included in the file. A graphic organizer is included as a printable for notes.

Instruction file #2 is a a 16 slide intro to the vertical stretch or height of a sinusoid. 4 formative assessment problems are included in the file.

Instruction file #3 is a 15 slide intro to the horizontal stretch of a sinusoud. The student learns the ratio of the parent function (2pi) to the period of the transformed function yields the stretch factor. 4 formative assessment problems are included in the file. A learning map is included as a printable.

Instruction file #4 is a 19 slide intro to the phase angle of the transformation of:
1. y=sinx
2. y=cosx
3. y=-sinx
4. y=-cosx

Assignment #1 is on 1 page for easy printing. The student is given 4 graphs and must produce the following:
1. The verical shift or centerline
2. The vertical stretch or height
3. The period in radians
4. The horizontal stretch factor
5. The phase angle as a transformation of y=sinx
6. The phase angle as a transformation of y=cosx
7. The phase angle as a transformation of y=-sinx
8. The phase angle as a transformation of y=-cosx
