Sippi is a lovable, fun-loving pup who learns about good character traits through a series of encounters with his friends. In the first story about kindness, Sippi is made fun of because of her name and her striped tongue. Five other stories also elaborate on the character traits of honesty, citizenship, courage, respect, and trustworthiness. As children read or listen to the rhyming stories, they will learn about: friendship, lying, tattling, bullying, and cheating. Each story is a complete lesson with discussion questions and follow-up activities. Additional activities, including 30 reproducible Sippi bingo cards, can be used throughout the course of the lessons.
