This worksheet is a fun way to review Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Students complete a "report card" for Sir Gawain based on how well he met the code of chivalry in the story. Using some humor, the physical ideals (strength, arms handling, and horsemanship) and nonphysical ideals (courage, humility, loyalty, and courtesy) are represented as classes that Sir Gawain took in school.
This activity is simple, yet effective in getting students to evaluate Gawain's character using evidence, while still having some elements that they can debate. This worksheet is not specific to any particular version of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
