Product Description
The fight for civil rights and liberties is one that transcends groups and time eras. In this project students will research various people, events, and legislation pertaining to civil rights across time eras and the Civil Rights Movement. Choosing from a list of not commonly taught laws, court cases, people and events, students will create a menu for the fictional new restaurant the "Sit-In Cafe". Menus will include cleverly named and described appetizers, entrees, deserts and more after these leaders, pioneers, and events while providing an overview of the significance each played in obtaining equality and fairness and in America.
