These activities come from Rebecca Sitton Spelling Sourcebook (Level 3, 3rd grade) Exercise Express section. She suggests using these activities as "sponge" lessons, but I found that using them for Homework and/or daily in class Word Work activities was a great way to keep my kids practicing. They can be done independently, whole-group, small group or one-on-one. You decide how to use them in your classroom. I just typed them up nice and neatly for you.
For EACH of the 33 units, included are 2 types of take-home "Spelling Lists" (one with 5 words, or one with 10 words). Also included (for each unit) are 4 days of Word Work pages. These include Sitton's "Stretch It", "Fix It", "Sort it", "Add It", "Finish It" and "Find It". I also made up 2 more activities of my own called "Create It" (Making sentences) and "Box It" (drawing tight boxes around their words). This packet is a total of 199 pages! If you are using Sitton's Sourcebook for spelling-- you will love having these activities already typed out.
