Beginning of the School Year - Citizenship Activities
Students need to learn the importance of contributing to their school and community.
In this activity students will discuss the six traits of good citizenship and the importance of compassion and kindness towards others.
Building citizenship skills helps your students feel that they can be contributors to others and can do work that benefits their class, school and community. Citizenship allows a child to see that their lives are important now and sets a foundation for becoming active citizens in adulthood.
