In history, six degrees of separation is the idea that two events (even over a significant amount of time) can be connected to any other event through a chain that has no more than four other events. Students will use this theory to connect two events/ people/ places in history. The teacher will give the students TWO events (the “anchor” events) and they must connect them using FOUR additional events/ ideas/ people/ places/etc.
