This project gets students to think critically about the Mexican-American War by analyzing the major events and sequencing them in a fun way, CCSS friendly way! Students will work in pairs to create a multi-paneled mural that illustrates the progression of the war from the annexation of Texas to the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Using art, collaboration, and creativity, students will display their understanding of the major events of the war in this fun and art-integrated project.
