Take your study of Colonial Americans a step further by having your students sort the early people groups of the United States! This product is a sort of the 6 groups of Colonial Americans that are studied in fourth grade in Georgia and characteristics of each. This is a perfect addition to a social studies interactive notebook, journal, or even to use as a quick assessment (simply have students cut out and glue onto a piece of paper!) There are two differentiated sorting activities included for six different peoples who made Colonial America home:
Slaves | Women | Wealthy Landowners | Indentured Servants | Artisans | Farmers
There is a higher level version and a lower level version of the same activity included.
