This series consists of short fictional stories about each of Henry VIII's wives. Each story is about 1 page long, and is followed by 5-6 reading comprehension questions. Whether you purchase specific parts separately or decide to do them as a set, you can't go wrong with these stories. They will engage your readers as we have seen time and again both in our tutoring sessions, and some of our tutors have used these in their classrooms.
These stories can also give you a chance to engage in a cross curricular social studies/history lesson. They are great starting points for discussion about life in the past, and women's roles historically speaking.
Kitty the Naive is about Henry's fifth wife. We hope you enjoy it!
Note: If you get the full set of 6 there is a bonus Tic Tac Toe Cooperative Learning Project Activity that works well in classrooms, for home school groups, and can even be adapted for individual tutoring students.
