If you are a teacher in an SBL/SBG classroom, this checklist is for you. Let students decide when they think they have mastered the standard and give meaningful feedback as they write. Why wait until the paper is finished to grade them and give them feedback - let them know their progress so they can meet standards!
This checklist is for informative writing 6.2 as well as W6.8 and L6.2. It breaks down standard 6.2 into the substandards with "I Can" statements.
