The first two pages address 16 problems that the student then rates using a 5-point scale. A key is included to help the student determine what size problem each item is and what kind of solution it requires (self-talk, adult involvement, immediate multiple adult involvement, etc.).
Pages 3 and 4 target 7 problems more in depth. The student identifies the problem, the size of problem, the main character's feelings, and proposes a solution.
Although the activity is in worksheet-form, it is important that each item be discussed and not just written down. Feel free to cut them up and use them as part of a game.
