This simple and easy to use skateboard design file includes 4 different versions of the skateboard design handout. This excellent art project asks students to create a skateboard design based on an audience. This handout makes a great sub art lesson plan as it can be completed in 1-3 class sessions.
Suitable for grades 5 and up. Use the skateboard design as a "get-to-know-you" activity or as enrichment. You will receive the 11"x17" size and 8.5"x11" size in both .docx and .pdf formats. The .docx format may be modified based on your teaching style, for special education students, and to provide enrichment for other art projects.

Students are asked the following:
Imagine that you are a graphic designer. Your boss comes to you and asks you to create a cool graphic design that would fit on the bottom of a skateboard. This skateboard graphic must appeal to kids your own age (this is your audience). Your design must be your own original idea and be completely colored in and finished. Your design can be one big graphic or many small doodles put together. Your design may also have words, quotes, graffiti, song lyrics, etc. You may want to have a border or a logo that represents you as a designer.
