In the Skeletal Function Matching Table series set, students match the following muscles from a word bank next to their provided functions in one table and write the functions off a function bank next to the appropriate muscle in the other table.
The tables offer reinforcement for the following muscles: Abdominal, Adductor (inner thigh), Biceps brachii, Buccinator, Deltoid, Extensors (Carpi & digitorium groups), External oblique, Flexors (Carpi & digitorium groups) Frontalis, Gastrocnemius, Gluteus maximus, Hamstring, Ilipsoas, Internal intercostal, Latissimus dorsi, Masseter, Oblique, Orbicularis oculi, Orbicularis oris, Pectoralis major, Peroneus longus, Quadriceps femoris, Rectus abdominus, Rotator cuff, Sartorius, Serratus anterior, Sternocleidomastoid, Temporalis, Tibialis anterior, Trapezius, Triceps brachii, Vertebral, and Zygomaticus muscles.
This activity set spans two class periods. Each table is two pages long and comes with a colored digitalized answer key. A full-page function word bank accompanies the Skeletal Muscle Function Table, and the functions are divided up by table sections - muscles of the head, muscles of the neck, muscles of the trunk, muscles that move the shoulder and upper arm, muscles that move the forearm and hand, muscles that move the thigh, muscles that move the leg, and muscles that move the foot. I left a space in each header for a page number reference in your respective Human Anatomy & Physiology textbook.
