This is a one-page drag-and-drop activity created in Word with a teacher's KEY. Twenty two skeletal bones are labeled on the skeleton using the drag and drop method. In order to actively use it as an interactive drag and drop, it must be used on the computer. However, when a student is absent, I give them this same exact assignment with no modifications. The terms in the boxes simply become a word bank. The student labels the skeleton by writing in the name of the bone at the correct anatomical position. Knowledge of the skeletal system is required. However, this can also be used as a web quest assignment which would require the student to research the correct location of the bones on the skeleton. Use it any way you wish - make it yours! It's all fun - the skeletal system is one of my most favorite subjects to teach.
