This printable can directly be used in the class, but it also supports children’ s learning in out-of-school environments.
With the help of beautiful illustrations and a catchy song, children learn about the skeletal system and some functions of bones: They learn
1. that bones give a shape to one's body
2. that bones help move one's body
3. that bones protect the main soft organs, such as the lungs, the heart and the brain
How do I use this interactive worksheet in my class?
After listening to the "Bones Song", students fill in the gaps with the missing words - a shape, move and protect -, they compare their answers in pairs, then we listen to the Audio recording and check the answers all together. They cut the answers out, fold and stick them on the plain windows. They also cut the house out, stick it into their notebooks and I let them colour it.
