This resource is an excellent addition to any unit on the skeletal system for 2nd or 3rd graders. Students will learn the names and locations of bones, and they will learn the purpose of bones for our bodies. The lap book is a wonderful way to catalog learning throughout the skeletal system unit. It makes an excellent study tool for students, and it's attractive. The pages can also be used in a science notebook. The resource is included in both color and black/white. Most components of the lap book can be easily differentiated for your students, as they are included with blank writing lines and prewritten sentence frames. This set of interactive notebook pages are simple and will not eat up precious teaching time.
The following concepts are addressed:
• names of bones
• location of bones within the skeleton
• parts of a bone (diagram)
• jobs of bones
• keeping bones healthy
• broken bones
Please take a look at the preview to see all parts of the resource.
