I was frustrated trying to find a skeleton for assignments I was giving my students. So I decided to create one of my own. I drew this skeleton and then for fun added the words of the major bones on the skeleton. Then, I went to Kinko’s and used the blueprint printer and blew this up to a large black and white poster size for just $8.oo. I used the black and white one and then colored in the words with markers. It ended up looking so great. My husband is an elementary/middle school PE teacher and he did the same to put in his gym. It’s a great inexpensive way to show off the skeletal system.
I provided several options: one black and white, one with yellow letters, one with red letters and one with “skeletal system” printed on the sides.
