This Skeletal System unit is designed to guide students through four experiments and a math lab as well as teach the following vocabulary: patella, ankle, clavicle, tibia, hip bone, ribs, femur, skull, humerus, movable joint, immovable joint, gliding joint, ball and socket joint, hinge joint, saddle joint, and pivot joint. The unit is designed with the intent of using a science notebook, but is not necessary. 12 slides are interactive, with the remaining slides being guides in experiments, teaching slides, or resource slides. Many links to videos are included in this unit. I use the firefox extension found at www.downloadhelper.net to download the YouTube videos for future use. This resource has taken many hours to create and all lessons and experiments were performed in class. I know you will find it valuable.
