Page 1 - Students sketch various 3D shapes in different colors. Shapes include different kinds of pyramids and prisms as well as cones, spheres and cylinders.
Page 2 - Students are asked to provide written explanations or answer questions regarding 3D shapes.
An example question is, "Explain and illustrate how to create a prism from a 2D object".
I use this as an introductory activity before we get to slicing 3D objects to create 2D cross-sections.
