Option 1: Student should draw a card from the pile and produce the word at the word, phrase, or sentence level. If the student produces the word correctly, the student is able to move on the game board and keep the card. The first student to reach finish wins.
Option2: Make two copies of the target sound and play “Go Fish” or “Memory.”
Option 3: Use the ski cards with the sounds your student is working on and add the special cards. Students should draw a card from the pile and say the target word at the word, phrase or sentence level, as determined by the SLP. If correctly produced, the student stores the card onto their ski mat. When all the cards are gone, the student with most cards is the game winner.
Option 4: Use the mountain scene while targeting words at the word, phrase, or sentence level. If the student produces the word correctly, the student is able to place the card on their mountain scene. The player with the most cards on the mountain scene is the winner.
