12 Quizzes Description:
Assess your students' comprehension of Skinnybones as they read through the book with these 12 quizzes.
Each quiz contains four multiple-choice, higher-order-thinking questions about one chapter. The questions assess many CCSS-ELA standards and elements of fiction, including vocabulary, cause and effect, main idea, summarizing, character analysis, sequence of events, story details, comparing and contrasting, problem/resolution, and much more.
Questions and answers are written in a way similar to what students may see on a standardized test, while not being too confusing.

12 Journal Prompts Description:
Assess your students' comprehension of Barbara Park's popular book Skinnybones, and allow your students to personally reflect upon the story's events.
These prompts will require your students to use important reading skills such as characterization, summarizing, cause and effect, vocabulary strategies, and personal reflection.
You will receive a writing prompt for each chapter, for a total of 12 questions. Simply print the pages and your students can use the provided lined space below each question to answer. Plenty of space is provided for your students to give detailed answers.
Each page is clearly labeled with which chapters the questions cover.
