This document has skip counting number lines. The numbers skip count by numbers 1-12. Each numberline shows a certain number of jumps, ranging from 2-6. So for example there are 12 cards with 6 jumps, each one skip counts by a number 1-12. There are 12 cards with 5 jumps, each one skip counts by a number 1-12 and so on.
The last 2 pages (these do not have borders on the cards) are mixed facts. So if you just need a few cards, but want different facts, you could just print pages 9, 10.
These are just a few ideas of how you might incorporate these flashcards into your math workshop.
Stations/Centers– Partner game. Have partners turn all the cards over face down in a pile. Turn one card over, the first person to name the multiplication fact gets the card. Or make it less competitive by having partners take turns.
Warm Up– Quiz, quiz trade– Give each student a flash card. Students stand up, find a partner each partner names the multiplication sentence represented on the card. Then the partners switch cards and find a new partner (Kagan Structure)
Stations/Centers —Matching Game/Sorting game –Partners take turns sorting the cards into similar categories, could be these all skip count by 2s. Or these all skip 4 times. Students could also match the multiplication sentence with the cards.
