What educators are saying

My students loved this resource and found it very engaging. The activity offers opportunities to differentiate for all learners and for students to progress at their own pace.

Description

Skip counting is an important multiplication strategy to learn. Students who can skip count by rote can use skip counting sequences to work out their answers to unknown facts.

In fact, this is an important mental math strategy to learn for the 6, 7 and 8 multiplication facts.

For example, if a student doesn’t know the answer to 7 x 7, they can skip count from a known fact (generally the 2, 5 or 10 multiplication facts) to get the answer – 35, 42, 49.

These skip counting for multiplication cards, which can be found in mymultiplication games and activities bundle,</a> will provide your students with a fun way to practice this important skill so they can easily master learning their multiplication facts.

Included in the Skip Counting for Multiplication Facts:

✅ 33 skip counting cards for the 2 – 12 multiplication facts (3 for each multiplication fact)

✅ Answer cards

✅ 2 recording sheets

✅ Student instruction cards
