This is a PowerPoint Gameboard that uses a 5 x 5 grid with 2d and 3d shapes. Students touch (if applicable) or point to a shape, name the shape, and then click to see if Skittleman is hiding behind the shape. Skittleman is hiding behind one of the 25 shapes. The goal is to find him. To pick a square, you must say the shape in the box. I will also have them give an attribute or make a real - world association as the year progresses. If they say the correct shape, they choose that square. Once the game has started, I tell the kids that he CAN NOT MOVE! It helps the students pay attention to what their peers pick. They do not want to pick the same box. There are 17 different hiding spots. When you open the PowerPoint, pick one of the 17 gameboards and hit slideshow! Use equity sticks to make sure you call on everyone. The winner gets a Skittle!
