For this activity, students will solve the problem, "How do we share a bag of skittles equally?"

My 4th grade students have a great time working together to solve the problem, with a reward of eating the skittles at the end.

**With my classroom, I talk about the scientific method and creating step-by-step procedures. This math activity was created as a cross-curricular by including science.

**Answer key is not provided, as the answers will depend on the group of students and the number of skittles given to their group.
