***Have an anchor chart of the worksheet prepared to help guide students through activity.***
Each student receives a worksheet and 2 mini-packs of skittles. First, have students fill out the chart, labeling the Y-axis with numbers 0-9 and the X-axis with the colors in the same order as the chart so it is easier to make the number.
Students sort and count the amount of each color and put the total in the chart.
**If there are 10 or more of one color the students get to eat the extras, or else it would disrupt the place values.**
At the end, the students eat the skittles.
