This game is kid tested and approved. It is designed to help children distinguish between 2D shapes and 3D shapes. It is played similar to Slap Jack. After the cards have all been passed out, the children take turns turning over one card at a time. If the shape on the card is a 3D shape, the kids race to slap the shape. The first person to slap the 3D shape keeps all the cards in the pile.
This packet includes game cards and kid friendly "I can" instructions.
We played this game in my classroom and my Ks LOVED IT! It is kid tested and approved.
I have also used this game as a small group intervention game and as flashcards.
