Provide paperless practice with my Slate Work Cards!!
My slate work cards were designed for students in grade 1 but can be used to differentiate in grade 2 or in kindergarten. (2 sets of cards included. D'nealian font and manuscript font. Click the preview to see ALL the cards and an example of the manuscript font used on the duplicate set.)
Print the cards on white card stock and cut them apart (there are 2 cards per page). You can laminate them to make them more durable. Students select a card and practice on their dry erase slate. Students could also practice on an iPad using a writing app and a stylus or their finger.
Skills addressed on the cards include:
Write a sentence
Write a word to match the picture
Draw a math picture to solve the fact
Write short vowel words, write long vowel words
Write and draw the number with base ten blocks
Literacy Center Work
Fast Finisher Activity
Working with a classroom helper
