Slavery: Olaudah Equiano Webquest and Primary Source Questions
Students will learn about the amazing life of Olaudah Equiano by completing a great internet-based worksheet. The webquest uses a very student friendly website that covers the major events and abolitionist causes of Olaudah Equiano in easy to read text. The webquest contains 26 questions and is a great way to introduce or to have your students go into more depth on slavery and Olaudah Equiano. An answer sheet is included for the teacher. A QR code is included along with the traditional website link. You can do the webquest and primary source worksheet together as one document, but I have also divided it into two parts if you want to have your students work on it separately. The webquest and primary source worksheet will take most students at least 20 to 40 minutes to complete depending on age. Feel free to modify this activity if needed to fit the needs of your students.
