Product Description
Students use laminated paper cutouts and whiteboards to model the physiology of muscle contraction and label important structures such as thin and thick filaments, m line, z disc, H zone, I band, and sarcomere. Low tech, but high impact on understanding. With laminating, these can be used year after year.

If you use this lesson, please come back and leave a comment and rating - I'd love to hear your feedback.

** 11/30/16 UPDATED to include more example photos and answer key for student questions.

** 3/14/17 UPDATED to add color images for laminating, and added a printable student worksheet of the conclusion questions.
