These worksheets provide a visual cue for students that have difficulty achieving a difference between the /sh/ and /s/ sounds. Have your student trace the line with either a finger, pointer or marker while making a strong /sh/ or /s/ sound and finish the word by "stamping" the picture and producing the final sound(s). The sliding line is thin for /s/ and thicker for /sh/ to provide a further cue. Sheets are excellent for therapy sessions or homework.
Includes an isolation practice sheet for "s," an isolation practice sheet for "sh," and 10 s/sh contrast sheets (minimal pairs).
