It helps identify parts of speech, syntax, and semantics. Great for students of all ages. Slipping Sentences can be used as a center activity, individual, pair, or group work. Creativity, imagination, vocabulary building, and grammar are enhanced through this hands-on, visual format. Students develop an eye for detail, as they decipher which parts of speech will work together. English and Spanish may be used separately, or match them up as desired. Blank word slip forms are also provided so that students can have fun making their own sentence combinations. It could be used for assessment, too. Ask your students to form sentences. Check to see if articles, adjectives, verbs and subjects are all in agreement.
