Relating Slope Amongst Tables and Graphs Activity:
The student is given a card with either a table of values or a graph. They find the slope and then find the match - a student with the same slope but the opposite type of relation. Each table of values will match with only one graph containing the same slope (see the preview for an example). The hope is that the student sees the connection between finding the slope from a table of values and finding the slope of that exact same relation as a graph. There are enough cards for 32 students. Small numbers on each card make it easy for the teacher to quickly come by and check the match. Can be played in multiple rounds; just shuffle the cards and hand them out again. Directions included. 5 pages.
