Linear Equations (Slope and Graphing Lines) Find Someone Who
This is a "Find Someone Who" activity in which students review the concepts of slope and graphing linear equations. Objectives specifically covered are as follows:
-Finding slope given a graph.
-Identifying the slope formula.
-Finding slope given two ordered pairs.
-Identifying both the slope-intercept form and standard form of a linear equation.
-Converting standard form equations to slope-interept form.
-Graphing linear equations in slope-intercept form.
-Graphing linear equations in standard form by converting to slope-intercept.
-Graphing linear equations in standard form by identifying their x- and y-intercepts.
-Graphing vertical and horizontal lines.
There are 14 questions total (2-sided). The students must get up and trade papers with 14 different people to complete the activity. Afterwards, we go go over the answers. The answers are included.
