Product Description
Slope-Intercept is such a large part in Algebra I. Here is a fun way for students to apply their understanding in a group setting.

Cut out the slope-Intercept cards along with the individual graphs and then laminate. Put students in groups of 3. Give each group 3 slope cards and 3 graph cards.

Students will write on the laminated cards with dry-erase markers. This will allow you to use year after year. Have students take turns rolling one dice. The first time they roll, the number will be put in the first blank. The second roll in the second blank. Have students tell each member what equation they came up with. Then have the students draw the line for their equation on a graph card. When all 3 members are finished, they will switch cards with each other and check their groups’ work. When they all agree that the graphs are correct, have them erase their cards and start over. Have them continue this pattern until they have completed 8 rounds (You may choose to do more or less depending on your own classroom’s needs).

Corresponds with Common Core Standard:
F.I.F.7.a… Graph linear and quadratic functions and show intercepts, maxima, and minima.
