This foldable organizes the steps/ process for graphing a linear equation using slope-intercept form.
Step 1: Rewrite the equation in slope-intercept form
Step 2: Identify the slope and the y-intercept
Step 3: Plot the y-intercept
Step 4: Use the slope to plot additional points (using the y-intercept as the starting point)
Inside the foldable I had students graph x + 2y = 4. Under each tab, they either manipulated the equation, identified the information or wrote themselves a note about what to do for each of the 4 steps.
We then did two additonal examples at the bottom of their notebook. I attached a page worth of mini coordinate planes as shown in my pictures.
