"I used this as an activity to review graphing my making a table. The students had to match the equation to the table and then the graph - great way to get them to look at these from another angle. They enjoyed the challenge. Thank you!"

I loved this activity. I made score sheets for the students by whiting out the answers. Most students worked in pairs but a few worked solo on this project. I love that it provided additional hands on, tactile practice and made them think about slope after they narrowed down equations by y-intercept. I used it as in-class practice after a quiz to keep them working in a more relaxed manner.

Compare properties of two functions each represented in a different way (algebraically, graphically, numerically in tables, or by verbal descriptions). For example, given a linear function represented by a table of values and a linear function represented by an algebraic expression, determine which function has the greater rate of change.
Construct linear and exponential functions, including arithmetic and geometric sequences, given a graph, a description of a relationship, or two input-output pairs (include reading these from a table).
