This is a lesson on how to clearly establish the concept of the slope and how to build on from there.This is a guided and organized presentation of the lesson. You can flash this on a whiteboard if you have a DLP Projector and write on the board.You can also make transparencies and use the overhead projector when teaching it. You can write on the transparencies while presenting it.

Page 1= Slope in the Real World
Pages 2 and 3= Definition of Slope as " rise over run or y over x"
Page 4= Application of Slope in Grade of Roads
Pages 5,6, 7, 8, 9 and 10= Identifying the slope given a graph and given two points on a coordinate system
Page 11 = Kinds of Slope
Pages 12 and 13 = Identifying Slope given two points (There is no graph). Application of the Slope Formula.
Pages 14,15 and 16 = Group Activity (Quiz Bee)
Pages 17 and 18 = Class work/Class Activities
Page 19 up to Page 27= Answer Key
